Rivanna Natural Designs today launched Awards for All, a new in-kind grant program to support groups that are fighting to end systemic racism and promote Climate Justice.
Rivanna was founded twenty years ago with a mission to create jobs for recently arrived refugees. Diversity and inclusion have always been priorities for the company. "We launched this grant program because we were looking for a way to more directly tie our work to the communities we serve. While we have a long tradition of making in-kind contributions to nonprofits, we want to more proactively support those fighting racism and promoting Climate Justice. At a personal level, we also want to be the ones who actually make the awards for the community heroes who are on the front lines doing this important work," said Crystal Mario, founder and CEO.
Rivanna will donate award products (up to $5,000 annually) to each qualifying nonprofit or public school for up to three years, at which point grantees may reapply. Applications must be received at Rivanna at least six months prior to award events. For more details or to apply, visit Awards For All.
