We are a B Corp
B Corps are companies that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.Video
Our mission is to design and build beautiful products that celebrate excellence, in a workplace that values diversity and inclusion, fosters resilience, respects our planet, and brings value to all our stakeholders. As a Certified B Corp, our mission is front and center, every day.
Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
Since 2011, Rivanna has been certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To maintain our B Corp certification, we continually evaluate how our practices impact our employees, our community, the environment, and our customers. These practices are audited by B Lab and are publicly available in our B Impact Report.
B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
Today, there is a growing community of more than 3,821 Certified B Corps from 70+ countries and over 150 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. We are proud to be part of this group of inspiring, like-minded businesses working to ensure that, one day, everyone will use business as a force for good.
If your company is interested in becoming a Certified B Corporation, B Lab provides a free, online, confidential tool called the B Impact Assessment to help you learn best practices companies can adopt regarding their workers, communities, and the environment.
