1% for the Planet
We can be better.
Rivanna Natural Designs is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. We contribute 2% of our annual revenue to charity. At least half of that (1% of our revenue) goes to the environmental nonprofit organizations that are part of the 1% for the Planet network. These nonprofits are highly vetted, so we know that we're getting maximum returns for our charitable giving.
Through our network, we were able to make contributions in 2020 to some of our favorite environmental groups in central Virginia. The James River Outdoor Coalition is working to allow people of all ability levels access to both flatwater and downstream whitewater sections of the James River. The Blue Sky Fund is a youth development non-profit that provides transformational experiences for urban youth through outdoor education.
