We are thrilled to announce that Rivanna has once again been recognized as one of the Best for the World™ B Corps. To be Best For the World in 2022,B Corps must have scores in the top 5% of one or more of the five impact areasassessed towards the certification. Rivanna scored in the top 5% in two categories: Workers and the Environment.
We were first recognized in the Best for the World: Environment category in 2014, but our commitment to responsibility forestry and our efforts to measure and minimize our environmental impacts began well before that. Since our inception in 2001, our environmental commitment has been at the center of our work.
Today, there are many more companies who are equally committed to the environment. Many of them are certified B Corps. As all BCorps are already businesses that meet high standards of verified social and environmental
performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose, this is a recognition that makes us incredibly proud! We are truly honored to be in such good company. We look forward to continuing our work with the global B Corp community as environmental business leaders and climate advocates.
