We Ship Carbon Neutral

We do our best to minimize the social and environmental impacts of shipping for materials we procure and for plaques and trophies that we ship.  Our guidelines are:

    • Avoid air freight for incoming and outgoing shipments.

    • Consolidate shipments.

    • Source locally, or from the closest approved supplier.

    • Engage freight transporters who are working to reduce environmental and social impacts.

    • Encourage suppliers and freight transporters to continue to reduce impacts.

    • Share best practices.

Rivanna contracts with UPS to provide carbon-neutral shipping. UPS's carbon neutral option supports projects that offset the emissions of the shipment's transport. UPS has supported projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment, and methane destruction. UPS is working first to reduce emissions through supply chain optimization and then to offset emissions via recognized standards.

We ship all award orders carbon neutral, regardless of order size or destination.  Please note, however, that if you choose to bill a shipment to your own carrier account, the shipment will not be carbon neutral unless you have your own carbon neutral shipping account or make other arrangements to offset your impacts.

Refund policy

We regret that we cannot accept the return of special orders, customized (logo), or personalized items.

Occasionally an item may be damaged in transit. If this occurs, please contact us immediately. Please note the condition of the shipping box for the damaged item. If the shipping box is damaged and you have access to a digital camera, you can assist us by taking a digital photo of the damaged box so that we can file a claim with our carrier. If the box is not damaged, there is no need to take a photo. After providing you with an RMA number, we will ask that you repack the item in its original container (if possible) with your receipt and RMA number. We will then arrange for pickup and delivery at our expense. When we receive the original item, we will immediately ship a replacement to you.
